Youth football registration next week

Registration for the Three Rivers Youth Football program will be held throughout the valley next week.

The youth football program is open to grades 3, 4, 5 and 6. Registration is for the fall season 2002.

Early registration will save $15 per player.

Registration fee is $100 next week. It will go up to $115 later.

The registration and helmet-fitting sessions are planned in Basalt, Carbondale, Glenwood, New Castle, Silt Rifle and Parachute. A later registration date will be set for Aspen.

The registration sessions will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 22-23.

In Glenwood Springs, registration will be held at Glenwood Springs Elementary School from 5:30-7:30 p.m. next Wednesday and Thursday.

In Carbondale, registration will be held at Aspen Earthmoving, 818 Industry Place, from 3:30-5 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

In Rifle, registration will be held at the Rifle Firehouse from 5-7 p.m. on May 22-23.

In Basalt, players can register at Basalt Middle School from 4-6 p.m. on those two dates.

New Castle registration is set for Kathryn Senor Elementary School from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and in Silt registration is planned at Roy Moore Elementary, also from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on May 22-23.

In Parachute, registration will be held from 6-8 p.m. May 22-23 sat the Lighthouse Assembly of God on South Battlement Parkway.
