Youth soccer festival rolls on

Soccer anyone?

The festival of youth soccer known as the Glenwood Springs Invitational will continue today at Colorado Mountain College’s Spring Valley campus.

Teams are scheduled to complete pool play this morning with divisional championship matches scheduled for this afternoon.

All of the matches are scheduled for the Gates Soccer Park at CMC-Spring Valley.

A total of 46 teams from throughout Colorado are participating, including teams from the host Glenwood Springs Soccer Club.

Pool play matches will begin at 7:30 a.m. today

In the U14 girls divisions, the Red Division title match is set for 3 p.m. today, on field 1.

The White Division championship also is set for 3 p.m. (on field 3).

In U14 boys, the tournament championship is scheduled for 4:15 p.m. today.

For U12 girls, the title match will be played at 4:15 (field 4).

And for U12 boys, the championship is set for 4:15 p.m.

The public is invited to the soccer festival at CMC-Spring Valley. There is no admission charge.

Refreshments are souvenirs are available.
