How much money can I earn from a route?

Routes have 400 – 2,000 papers and compensation ranges from $200-$850 per month.

What are the advantages to having a route?

Early morning hours can balance well with other jobs or responsibilities; some of our carriers are stay-at-home parents and others have daytime jobs.

How long does it take to do a route? When do the papers have to be delivered?

It depends on how many papers are assigned to a route but they generally take 2-4 hours. The Aspen Times has a delivery goal of 6 a.m. each day. Most carriers deliver 3-5 days per week.

As an independent contractor, you are agreeing make sure that your papers are delivered each day. We do not provide substitute carriers. You are responsible for providing a substitute should you need time off. Are you able to fulfill this obligation?*
