If you’re looking for an immersive experience in elevated gifting, look no further.

Signature Apothecary — the Roaring Fork Valley’s newest luxury beauty and wellness organization with a mission of offering tailored events and gifts with a rolodex of local healers, mystics, and more — is the host behind both the event planner and public portions of this Sunday. According to Tracey “Trayfo” Mishel, visionary and product designer for Signature Apothecary, the aim is to show everyone what’s available to them to help raise consciousness and promote healing.

“So many people in the valley don’t know what’s available,” Mishel said. “It’s pretty infinite … The sky is the limit.”

While the event will run 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for industry invites, the public is welcome from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9, at The Hoffman Hotel, 30 Kodiak Drive in Basalt. Entry is free, with some stations providing the ability to purchase products.

“You deserve to be wrapped in radiant light,” Signature Apothecary’s flyer for the event reads. “Explore a thoughtful sampling of offerings from our blossoming collective of healers.”

There will be mini offerings from the Signature Apothecary Collective, listed below:

  • Signature Apothecary — Products and gifts
  • Kate Eakins — Shamanic practitioner
  • Sheridan Semple — Astrology readings
  • Jacqui Horton — Aura soma therapy
  • Sasha Sells — Ortho-bionomy
  • Krista and Zack Cashin — Reiki and sound
  • Kat Hardy — Lucia No 3 light
  • Danielle Klein — Sound practitioner and consultant

In the west lot

  • Karla Miller — The Hope Barn, drip custom beverage
  • Jessica Eary — Oracle card readings

Patio or center space

  • Michelle Brandon — Ear seeding and acupuncture
  • Amber Crowley — Breathwork and caterer
  • Michelle Hyken — Subconscious energy clearing
  • Travis Twoey — Breathwork

“The biggest thing I’d love to create out of this event is more connection,” said Semple, The Aspen Times’ acclaimed columnist known for “Moon Mondays.” She will be offering both mini astrology readings and gift cards available for purchase. “There’s a really great cross-section of alternative healer opportunities here that don’t reflect being in your normal, small town Colorado.”

According to Semple, amidst the stress and disconnection of the country’s political climate, this event offers the opportunity to come together and celebrate those working toward building others up.

“Come have an experience and walk away feeling upbeat and positive about what’s happening in our valley and world,” she said.

Lauren “Lu” Redfern, brand manager and engagement coordinator for Signature Apothecary, also highlighted the uniqueness of what the valley has to offer. According to Redfern, Signature Apothecary’s mission is all about including as many experiences as possible to events from weddings to corporate events to wellness retreats and everything in between, with no experience ever being exactly the same.

“Our vision is to build a rolodex of practitioners, mystics, and healers,” she said, “to have this rolodex of interesting, amazing people who are gifted who can bring different layers to your event.”

And for those who might not be planning any upcoming events, Signature Apothecary’s Sunday experience is still a great opportunity to start gearing up for the holidays.

“It’s a meet-and-greet with these healing modalities available in the valley, as well as having a gift-giving aspect to it with the holidays coming up,” Redfern said. “We can help people curate gifts for the holidays, or for birthdays.”

Signature Apothecary will be offering custom organic skin products, soothing bath salts, and curated loose-leaf tea blends, alongside each healer’s individual, tailored stations. Every product offered has been tested by Mishel on her own healing journey following the isolation of COVID-19 and a divorce, and she can vouch for them all.

“I really deep-dived into the healing community,” she said. “The people who are part of this event are all healers I’ve been working with or known for an extensive amount of time. This is not just a group of randomly chosen people. They’re all the real deal.”

She noted that she hopes to include even more healers and practitioners going forward, growing Signature Apothecary’s community.

“It is an infinite concept — of the way it can grow and the people who can be involved in it,” She said.

Mishel and Redfern, along with their partners Joe Alexander — content creator, team orchestrator, and logistics manager — and Bridgete Boyle — event logistics and concierge — are committed to fostering an inclusive and fun vibe not just Sunday but at every event they’re a part of. That energy is infused in their products as well, a collaboration not just between business partners but friends.

“We’re really excited to have the opportunity and to have this friendship,” Redfern said. “Everyone in the business went to Burning Man together, and it opened up our hearts and minds.”

As a result of this, Signature Apothecary can also offer art cars, like those seen at the iconic Black Rock Desert festival, to cater offerings at any event.
