The Winter Wonderland Reading Challenge from Garfield County Libraries returns, a news release from the libraries states.

Residents are invited to join and pick up a Winter Reading activity bingo card at your local library, the release stated.

Bingo cards must be completed between Jan. 15 and Feb. 29 to win an evening at the Glenwood Springs Hot Springs Lodge, the release said.

Prize packets will be given away to the first 50 people who sign up at each location, in Parachute, Rifle, Silt, New Castle, Glenwood Springs and Carbondale, the release stated.

It’s a chance to read your favorites and read something new to win a prize, the release said.

The bingo card consists of categories to fill, such as “Read a Nonfiction Book” or “Read a New Genre.” For example, if the category was adult fantasy, one person could read “Neverwhere” by Neil Gaiman and another person could read “For the Wolf” by Hannah Whitten, but both would be filling the category correctly.

This activity is free and open to everyone 18 and older. Visit http://www.gcpld.org/winter-reading for more information, the release stated.

Rifle: 207 East Ave.
