Kenneth J. Finnin, 80, of Crossroads Assisted Living, passed away Nov. 11, 2005 in Rifle. Kenneth died a peaceful death and now joins his loving wife, Irene.He was born Aug. 9, 1925, in Flint, Mich., to Christopher and Mary (Hagedorn) Finnin.He had been a member of the Merchant Marines.Kenneth married Irene Finnin in Arvada on Feb. 24, 1975.He was a factory worker at Gates Rubber Company.He lived in Parachute for 12 years and was a member of Brendan’s Catholic Church in Parachute and a member of the Elks Club.Kenneth’s special interests included hunting, fishing, golf and playing cards.Survivors include sons Mike (Robin) Finnin, Jerry (Linda) Kaiser, and Brian (Linda) Kaiser; daughters Nancy Graham and Linda (Tom) Pysto; and 12 grandchildren.Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife and granddaughter, Angela Rose Graham.A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Parachute, with Father Robert Hehn officiating.Interment will be at Battlement Mesa Cemetery in Parachute.Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Memorial contributions may be made to Roaring Fork Hospice, P.O.
