February 23, 1940 – February 9, 2026

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.
Dee Ann left her earthy home peacefully and was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
With a renewed spirit now free of pain, she greets those who have gone on to glory before her in her Heavenly home.
Dee Ann was born in Laramie Wyoming, to James and Della Grandee. She met her husband Donald Pressley while living in Denver. They were wed in 1957 and were together for the next 58 years, until Donald’s passing on May 19, 2015.
Dee Ann moved from Denver to the Vail Valley in 1969 with her husband Donald where they put down permanent roots and raised their family.
Donald (Donny) was a Builder-Developer and was Owner/Partner of Carpentry Unlimited Inc. with Carl Dietz.
Dee Ann was a full-time mother and homemaker until she began working at the Holiday Inn in Vail as the Front Desk and Reservations Manager. Later Dee Ann opened Dee Ann’s Dolls & Fine Collectables located in Crossroads in Vail, now known as the Solaris.
Dee Ann was an avid animal lover rescuing numerous animals in need of a good home and supported many animal rescue foundations.
She leaves behind her daughters- Debbie Harris (Randy) – Dawn Chadwick (Chuck) – Devona Walter (Bill) – Dodi Kayser (Mike) – her grandchildren- Dawn Harris (Bartel), Stephanie Dunsdon, Tai (BJ) Hughes, Jamie (Red) Chadwick-Smith, Beau (Shayne) Chadwick, Jessie (Eric) Purcell, Tiffany Carter, Fawn Carter, Willis Walter, Gracie Kayser, Benjamin Kayser and Matthew Kayser and her great-grandchildren- Xavier, Sebastian & Lucian Barthel, Elijah Dunsdon, Camden & Bodee Hughes, Savannah Chadwick, Shiloh Smith, Easton, Sawyer & Sutton Chadwick, Wyatt & Harvey Purcell, Karizma & Gabriel Gustin, and her devoted cat Simon Baker.
She was proceeded in death by her beloved husband Donald Pressley, her son William Del, her parents James and Della and her sister Margaret Kay Duran.
Dee Ann’s wishes were for a private family gathering.
To honor Dee Ann’s lifelong love for animals, the family requests that donations be made to an animal rescue of your choice in lieu of flowers.
