Obituary: H. John Bellio

H. John Bellio, passed away, after a courageous battle with cancer and the side effects of being 94. He was preceded in death by his 5 siblings, Theresa, Joseph, Albert, Leo, and Ronnie. 2 of his brothers, Leo and Joseph passed away only 24 days and 21 days before John. John was born in Blackstone Massachusetts, to Ettore R Bellio and Maria Capra Bellio, John lived a life filled with a passion for work, and his dedication to his family. His beloved wife Margaret Josephine Bellio preceded him in death in 2014, John and Margaret married in 1951, and built a beautiful life together, for 63. years They soon started their own janitorial company, Mile-Hi Cleaning, in Denver Colorado. They worked side by side for 27 years, with over 100 employees. before semi-retiring to their farm in Silt Colorado.
John leaves behind his 2 sons Donald G Bellio, (Barb) and John W Bellio, (Petra) as well as his 7 grandchildren. As well as 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. John’s greatest joy came from a good hard day of work imparting life lessons to his 2 sons. His diverse talents and passions of farming came from his Father who ran multiple truck farms growing vegetables in Denver and Granby Colorado. John’s legacy of love, creativity, and generosity will live on through the many lives he touched. John was a one-of-a-kind impressive guy.
A memorial service will be January 30th at 10:30AM at Crown Hill Tower of Memories in Wheatridge Colorado. There will be a celebration of life in Garfield County after the funeral dates, times, and location to be announced.
