Lynne Marie Sucich Diekmann, 62 years young, passed away on December 11, 2025, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Lynne was the daughter of John and Kathleen Sucich. . She is survived by mother, Kathleen, siblings Lauren, James, John (Cynthia), and Lisa, husband Mark, her beloved son, Luke, and a large extended family. She was predeceased by her brother, Jerry.
Lynne devoted over 40 years to a career in cosmetology, a calling that perfectly matched her creativity, warmth, and ability to make others feel seen and beautiful. As a salon owner and operator for more than two decades, she built not just a business, but a community—one rooted in friendships, artistry, and love.
An adventurous and pioneering spirit, Lynne was deeply passionate about hiking, camping, gardening, and dancing, finding joy and freedom in nature and movement. Her creativity expressed itself in many artistic forms, most notably watercolor painting, where her sensitivity and imagination came vividly to life.
Lynne was also deeply committed to her years of recovery and was an active, caring presence within the sober community. She offered encouragement, honesty, and hope, and lived her recovery as a testament to resilience, courage, and transformation. Her willingness to show up for others made a lasting difference in many lives.
Never one to stop growing, Lynne recently earned a certificate in Life Coaching, reflecting her lifelong desire to uplift and inspire others. She was a source of encouragement, wisdom, and light to all who knew her.
Lynne’s legacy lives on in her son, her family, her art, and the countless lives she touched through her work, her recovery, and her generous spirit.
