After saying goodbye to his loved ones, Robert Adams passed away peacefully in Springfield Missouri on July 13, 2024. Bob was born June 3, 1932 in Salida, Colorado and raised in Rifle. He served two years in the army, then went to work for Union Carbide, and retired after 31 years. in the 1970s Bob served as president of the school board. He was also a member of City Council. His hobbies included snowmobiling, golf, and gardening. In their later years, he and Pat moved to Grand Junction, then on to Springfield to be closer to their daughter. Bob enjoyed teaching Sunday school and walked as a genuine man of strong faith. He was loved by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, daughters, Susan Adams Edmond, Oklahoma, Judy, (Tim) Valencia Silt, Colorado Tammy, (Jim) Alter, Strafford, Missouri. Sons Jim, (Kristine), Sheridan Wyoming, John, Rifle. One sister Cheryl (Ted) Morgan, Rifle. He had six grandchildren and 12 great Grandchildren.
