Julianna O’Clair is a general assignment reporter for the Glenwood Springs Post Independent. She covers the Garfield Board of County Commissioners, arts and entertainment, and hyper-local issues ranging from public services to land zoning. She joined the team in the fall of 2024.
Before joining the Post Independent, Julianna covered breaking news at The Denver Post as a city desk intern. She also worked as a freelance writer and photographer for Denver Westword and held internships at Out Front Magazine and Denver Life Magazine. A northeastern Colorado native, Julianna holds degrees in journalism and music performance, as well as a graduate certificate in publishing, from the University of Denver.
