Madison Osberger-Low joined The Post Independent as Digital Engagement Editor in 2024. Prior to that, she spent over six years contributing to the Aspen Times as a freelance reporter, covering high-profile events such as the winter X Games in Aspen and FIS World Cup races with a focus on extreme sports and athlete storytelling.
She brings additional experience from her role as a Social Media Manager with the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team, where she supported the development of athlete-centered digital content and Olympic coverage.
Madison was born and raised in Aspen, Colorado, where she grew up as an elite ski racer immersed in the heart of the mountain sports community.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Sport Management from the University of Kansas. She is also a certified Colorado Public Notary.
Outside of work, she enjoys skiing at Aspen Highlands during the winter and spending time by the ocean in the summer months.
