Madison Osberger-Low

Madison Osberger-Low joined The Aspen Times as Digital Engagement Editor in 2024 after more than six years contributing to the publication as a freelance reporter. She has covered major events including the Winter X Games in Aspen and FIS World Cup races, with a focus on extreme sports and athlete storytelling.

She continues to report on marquee events such as X Games, Shaun White’s, The Snow League  World Cup ski racing, and also covering local crime stories.

Madison previously worked as a Social Media Manager for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team, where she helped develop athlete-focused digital content and supported Olympic coverage.

A native of Aspen, Colorado, Madison grew up as an elite ski racer and remains closely connected to the mountain sports community.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Sport Management from the University of Kansas and is a certified Colorado Public Notary.

Outside of work, she enjoys skiing in the winter and spending time by the ocean during the summer.
