Youth Arts Showcase

What: Carbondale Arts presents the Youth Arts Showcase at the Carbondale Arts Gallery. This exhibition features works produced from two local programs: The Carbondale Arts Creative Apprentice Program employs teens to work with local creative professionals to develop works of community value while gaining exposure to and experience in contemporary creative professions. The Stepping Stones Artist Residency Program offers culturally-responsive, bilingual arts programming for youth. This exhibition will be on display through June 26 with an opening reception on June’s First Friday 5-7 p.m.

PAIRINGS Beverage Reception Event

What: Head to the Carbondale Clay Center’s outdoor tasting room and purchase a handmade ceramic cup before enjoying a complimentary drink from a local vendor. Cups are on display now in the CCC Gallery through June 28 and can be taken home after June 6.

Carbondale Pride Parade

What: Celebrate pride by participating in Carbondale’s annual Pride Parade during June’s First Friday. The parade line-up starts at 5:45 p.m. near the Carbondale Clay Center and will travel down Main Street to Weant Avenue. 

When: 6:15-6:30 p.m. Friday, June 6

Where: Carbondale Creative District, Main Street, Carbondale

Glenwood Springs Pride 2025

What: Celebrate pride in the Roaring Fork Valley at the Glenwood Springs Fourth Annual Pride, funded by Cook Inclusive Company. There will be disabled and queer vendors, food, drinks, live music and drag performers and nonprofit resource partners. 

When:  12-10 p.m. Saturday, June 7

Reggae Party with The Know Bodies Band 

What: Head to Silt’s Brew Zone for a night of high-energy, ska, punk, soul, Afrobeat grooves performed by Glenwood Springs-based band The Know Bodies Band. Local DJ Selecta 007 will spin tunes before and after the live set, keeping the energy high throughout the evening.

When: 5:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7

Marc Douglas Berardo at Steve’s Guitars

What: Singer-songwriter Marc Douglas Berado brings his original compositions to Steve’s Guitars on Sunday, June 8. Berado is an accomplished performer whose music reflects deep emotions and valuable lessons taken from real life, creating an “almost spiritual” experience. He was a winner of the Wildflower Art and Music Festival Song Contest and has performed for multiple songwriter festivals, including the 2025 Tucson Folk Festival and 2024 Red Lodge Songwriter Festival. 

When: 8-9:30 p.m. Sunday, June 8

Where: Steve’s Guitars, 19 N. Fourth St., Carbondale

Wilderness Workshop’s Community Party / Fiesta comunitaria

What: Head to Sopris Park for a free community party hosted by Wilderness Workshop, a group dedicated to protecting Western Colorado’s public lands. There will be live music by Sweet Jessup and the Dirty Buckets, food and drinks from Mountain Heart, Chef’s Cart and Mama Pierogis with free drinks for Wilderness Workshop members, family-friendly activities and more. The party is also a good chance for attendees to join Wilderness Workshop or renew their membership. Blankets and camping chairs are recommended. Dogs, glass and outside alcohol are not allowed. 

When: 5:30-8:30 p.m., Thursday, June 12

Where: Sopris Park, Snowmass Drive at Second Street, Carbondale

The Boys Of Summer

What: Enjoy recreations of country rock hits from the Eagles with the tribute band Boys of Summer at Rifle’s Ute Theater. Hailing from Southern California, the Boys of Summer have “Eagles blood running through their veins” and their music is sure to spark the fond memories that so many Eagles hits inspire. 

When: 7:30-10 p.m., Friday, June 13

Where: Ute Theater and Events Center, 132 E. Fourth St., Rifle

How much: $30 for stadium seating.

The Devereux Polo Cup

What: An afternoon of competition and fun returns at the 21st annual Devereux Polo Cup, a free sporting event that celebrates local history. The cup features a polo match between Team Hotel Colorado and Team Land Rover. Guests can enjoy complimentary wine provided by Wild Mountain Cellars and food and drink while enjoying live music by John Riger and Mark Shiiba, who appears on the Voice’s 26th season.

When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, June 15

Where: Stout Ranch, 2000 Baldy Creek Road, New Castle

How much: Free. Donations are encouraged and will support the New Castle Historic Museum.
