Carbondale celebrated the 54th Mountain Fair from July 25–27 at Sopris Park in Carbondale. The weekend opened with an Indigenous blessing and the Rhythm of the Heart community drum circle led by longtime “Mother of the Fair” Laurie Loeb. Crowds caught sets by The Nude Party, La Luz, Wild Flight and Diggin Dirt between beloved contests like wood splitting, pie baking and the Porcupine Group Bike Race.
