5Point Film, a community organization in the Roaring Fork Valley, has announced its upcoming fundraising event, “5Point In The Field,” to celebrate the valley’s vibrant spirit.

The event offers community members an opportunity to support 5Point Film’s mission to build community and inspire change by showcasing and celebrating impactful stories of adventure.

“The organization is committed to uplifting diverse storytellers and stories that broaden our understanding of the world,” a press release reads.

Proceeds from the event will help fund 5Point’s flagship festival, education programs, emerging filmmaker grants, and free community screenings throughout the valley.

“We’re excited to welcome our guests to this meaningful evening at Spring Creeks Ranch,” said Aly Sanguily, 5Point Film’s director of operations, in the press release. “Each ticket supports 5Point’s mission of connecting people through adventure, creativity, and stories that expand our understanding of the world. Events like ‘5Point In The Field’ allow us to bring powerful adventure stories to life and inspire the next generation of filmmakers and explorers.”

The event will take place 5:30-9:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the scenic Spring Creeks Ranch. Locally inspired fare will be available from Domingo Sausage Co, beverages from Socorro Tequila, Jalisco Liqueur, El Dorado Spirits and Legends, New Belgium Brewing, Bom Dia Bubbles, and more. Guests will enjoy live music by The Jazzmonauts, a cozy bonfire with dessert under the stars, and a lively paddle raise, hosted by Paddy O’Connell, to support 5Point’s initiatives.
