The United Volleyball Club of the Rockies 18s beach team of Kaylee Molina and Cynthia Orona won the 18s title at the USA Volleyball Beach National Championship in Virginia Beach on Monday. Molina, who plays at Glenwood Springs, and Orona — a rising Battle Mountain senior — went 10-0 over the 3-day tournament.

Orona and Molina placed second in the 16U American gold bracket in Fort Lauderdale last summer, which was the highest finish ever for a United Volleyball Club of the Rockies team at the time.
