Arapahoe Basin Ski Area announced on Wednesday, June 4, that the ski area will be extending the season for one final weekend.
Originally slated to close on June 8, A-Basin will now be open from June 13-15. The final day of the season will now be Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15.
As a reminder, A-Basin will be running lifts from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends only — Friday, Saturday and Sunday — for the rest of the season. Black Mountain Express and Lenawee Express will be spinning during operating hours, servicing the ski area’s front-side terrain. There is no beginner terrain available — only intermediate and above.
Aspen is teaming up with the Carbondale Bike Project
The project will host a used bike drop-off event on Friday, June 13, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Rio Grande Recycle Center.
