Carol Zarlingo Wilson was born in Glenwood Springs Colorado on February 27 1956 to parents Robert and DeeDee Zarlingo. She and her sister were the first set of twins born at Valley View Hospital. Carol spent her childhood at the Flying Cloud Ranch on Silt Mesa. She loved being outdoors among the animals.
She attended school in Silt and New Castle, graduating from Rifle High School in 1974. Carol was well known as an enthusiastic member of the RHS pep club.

Carol had various jobs prior to starting work at Valley View Hospital in the early 1980s. She would work at the hospital for 36 years. In her spare time Carol enjoyed gardening; growing tomatoes and lemon cucumbers. She also grew beautiful peonies. She indulged her creative side with embroidery and crochet.

Carol married Bill Wilson on May 1st 1983 at the Silt Catholic Church, the same church her parents were married in. Carol and Bill were married for 42 years and had two children Amber and Brian. Carol is survived by her husband Bill and their children; her mother DeeDee; her sister Judy and brothers Ben and Tony; two nieces and three nephews. As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Carol was a beloved family member and will be greatly missed.
