Obituary: Eileen Moffatt

Eileen Moffatt was born in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, and raised in nearby Carbondale, Colorado.
Eileen received a B.S. in Journalism from the University of Colorado and became a highly respected ad agency copywriter for Ogilvy and Daly & Associates in Los Angeles, working on brands such as Ford Trucks, Gallo, and Mattel – Barbie. Eileen then transitioned to get her PsyD in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and established a successful private practice for over 20 years in Northern California.
Eileen and husband, Al Moffatt, traveled to over 25 countries in 10 years. Eileen excelled at ceramics, glass fusion, welding, photography, cheese making, dance, jewelry, cooking, and banking. Eileen was not just a creator of physical objects. She was a creator of love. Of joy. Of happiness. Eileen loved and was adored by her ‘bonus’ children John, Aly and Sarah Moffatt.
Eileen is survived by her husband Al Moffatt, stepchildren John, Aly and Sarah Moffatt, brother Kurt Norton, sister-in-law Nancy Norton, three nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews. Eileen’s first husband, David Missey, proceeded her in death.
