Isabel Fay Downing, 97, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025 at Grand River Health Care Center in Rifle, Colorado.
Isabel was born May 17, 1928 in Dillon, Colorado to Daniel and Peurl Roth. She was a graduate of Telluride High School. She married Howard Downing September 6, 1947 in Telluride, Colorado.
Survivors include her son Dan (George) Downing, his wife Cherry Downing of Rifle, Colorado, grandsons Thomas Downing of Rifle, Colorado, Michael Downing of Glenwood Springs, Colorado and Mark Rauen of McHenry, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Downing, daughter, Linda Rauen and son, David Downing.
