Kimberly Dawn (Kim) Benham, age 50, was born on November 17, 1975, in Glenwood Springs, CO. She passed away unexpectedly at her home in Fulton, MO, on September 9, 2026.
Kim graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Environmental Sciences. After living and working in the Denver area for several years, she moved to Fulton, MO, with her fiancé Jason Pundmann. They married in 2008. They later divorced.
Kim is survived by her two children, Madeleine, age 16, and Cooper Pundmann, age 14; her parents, Kent (Debbie) Benham of Silt, CO, and Judy Benham of Longmont, CO; her brother Tim Benham (Kurrin) and niece, Taige of Sacramento, CA.
She is also survived by her Uncle Wes and Aunt Barbara Bush and cousins Steve (Amy) Bush and Stacie Bush, and by her aunt, Kathy Hockin, and cousins Aileen and Aleah Hockin, as well as many friends.
She was known for her kindness, empathy, and wisdom, and for her great sense of humor and contagious laugh. She will be missed by so many. Her beautiful light will always shine above and within us.
In Kim’s life, Madeleine and Cooper were her world. She was a wonderful mother, as evidenced by the amazing young adults Madeleine and Cooper have become. Rest in Peace, dear Kim.
