Ricky Lee Pappan was born on June 21st 1952 and went to be with the Lord
April 21st 2025. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Burrows Pappan.
Sisters: Phillis Dailey, Kristy Clark, and Carrie Pappan Brother: Carter Pappan
Children: Heather Pappan, Keddie Burrows, Kathie Walker, Stephen Burrows,
Kathryn Schroeder, Diane Simmons, Debbie Burrows and Keith Burrows. He had
25 Grandchildren and 31 Great Grandchildren.
Ricky was born in Norfolk Virginia to Jane Smythe and Phillip Pappan. He was a
member of the Kaw Nation of Northern Oklahoma.
Ricky married Carol in 1977, they lived in Glenwood Springs Colorado for 23 years. They enjoyed a beautiful and loving marriage for 48 years! It was filled with their enthusiasm for life, love and family. However, most of all it was their love of the Word of God that united them.
Rick worked for American Engineering and Asphalt for 28 years. He was a Deacon for several years at The New Discovery Christian Church.
Ricky was very giving and showed great compassion for his fellow man. He created a halfway house ” God’s House” and a food ministry that fed several hundred people weekly. Ricky and Carol lived on the Sacramento River together nearly 30 years and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Services are May 10th at 2:00pm at The Crossing Church 1227 N. Market Blvd.
