Two Rivers Park, located at the confluence of the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers, was the heart of July 4 celebrations in Glenwood Springs. From rafters putting in and taking out, bikers riding on the bike path, to food, drink, live music, activities, games, and eventual light show Two Rivers Park didn't see a moment of peace during Independence Day.

Garfield County residents turned out in full force to celebrate the Fourth of July. Parades, live music and community gatherings brought red, white and blue to every corner of the county. Families lined sidewalks, kids waved flags and the night skies lit up with a number of light shows.

It isn’t the Fourth of July in the Roaring Fork Valley if the rivers aren’t full. A local surfer rips up the Glenwood Waterpark, cooling down on a hot Independence Day.
