Vendors and nonprofits are invited to participate in the event, held in a conjoint effort by the Rifle Branch Library and the Rifle Police Department.
Garfield Re-2 Schools are closed that Friday, and organizers expect to draw a larger crowd than before, around 500-750 children.
Local businesses and nonprofits are encouraged to partake by hosting a booth space at no cost. Participants are also invited to decorate their trunks or booths, bring plenty of candy and join in the spooktacular fun.
“This event has become one of Rifle’s favorite family traditions,” Rifle Police Public Information Officer Angela Mills said. “It’s a safe, fun way for kids to enjoy Halloween, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for local organizations to connect with the community.”
For more information or to reserve a free booth space, contact Mills by calling 970-665-6500 or emailing amills@rifleco.org.
