Rifle Rendezvous
What: Celebrate Rifle’s history with the annual Rifle Rendezvous, featuring live music, a carnival, local vendors and a car show.
When: 4-11 p.m. Friday, May 15; 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, May 16; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 17
Where: Garfield County Fairgrounds, 1001 Railroad Ave., Rifle
How much: Admission is free. Advance tickets for the carnival are available at Rifle City Market and Alpine Bank for $35.
Valley View Kids Safety Fair
What: Valley View’s annual Kids Safety Fair returns on Saturday, providing families with interactive and fun opportunities to learn about fire and bike safety and much more. This year’s event features fire safety demonstrations, fire truck tours, helmet fittings and giveaways and a Kiwanis Bike Rodeo.
When: 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, May 16

How much: Free
Horses + Sound Sensory Session
What: Experience a guided workshop that promotes nervous system regulation by blending the “Horseboy Method” with biofield tuning. Camilla Affelin, certified biofield tuning practitioner, will lead guests in reconnecting to a sense of safety and presence through sensory work with horses and sound work with a tuning fork.
When: 10-11:30 a.m. Sunday, May 17

How much: Free to veterans. $50 suggested donation for general public.
Teen Jam & Open Mic
What: Teens ages 13–19 can head to the Bluebird Cafe in Glenwood Springs for a glenWOODSTOCK free teen jam and open mic session. Perform or just hang out and connect with fellow music lovers. Instruments will be available for use.
When: 5-7 p.m. Sunday, May 17

On display in the Carbondale Arts Gallery
What: Stop by the Carbondale Arts Gallery for the opening reception of two new exhibitions: “Material Haiku MMXXVI” by Gaby Oshiro and “Kindred Spirits” by Christine Anderson and Benjamin Strawn. In “Material Haiku MMXXVI,” Oshiro plays with the balance between subtraction and addition, destruction and creation and chaos and order. In “Kindred Spirits,” ceramic artist Anderson and abstract painter Strawn explore their shared creative visions and 40–year friendship.

Roaring Fork High School’s Art Show
What: Celebrate young artists at Roaring Fork High School’s Visual Art and Woodworking Show, which features a range of student work from surrealist drawings to furniture.
When: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 20; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22

The N.U.T.S. Patio Series Presents: The Tyler Rust Band
What: Enjoy free live music on the patio of Rifle’s Ute Theater, courtesy of the New Ute Theatre Society (N.U.T.S.) during the 2026 Patio Series. Chairs and tables are first come first serve, and attendees are welcome to bring their own chairs. The Ute Bar will be open and El Sabor de Mexico will have food available for purchase. Thursday’s event features the Tyler Rust Band.

Women’s VOICES: When We Dance Again
What: The original theater project Women’s VOICES: “When We Dance Again” highlights the experience of women throughout the Roaring Fork Valley region. Directed by Jennifer Hughes, the production features Indhira Barron, Nina Gabianelli, Monica Muniz, Ashley Stahl, Brittany Welch and Nuni Zeeni, who will all share what it means to discover womanhood. On May 22, stick around after the performance for an artist talkback with Iliana Renteria, a cast party and trivia night at Beer Works on Saturday or a min-bouquet making session with Modern West Floral Co. May 24.
