Obituary: Kyra Karrick

Kyra Karrick, passed away surrounded by the love of so many whose lives she touched deeply.
Kyra moved from Ohio to Colorado in 2013 and spent much of her life in the Roaring Fork Valley, where she built lasting friendships and became known for her vibrant spirit and compassionate heart.
Kyra was a friend to all people and animals alike. She was bubbly, quirky, and full of life, with a laugh that was truly contagious. She never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcome, seen, and loved. Her kindness, humor, and light left an unforgettable mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her loving mother, Karen Karrick; her sister, Kaitlin Karrick; her hand picked sister, April Hand; her fiancé, Joseph Heredia; their beloved dogs, Kopper and Dolly; and her cherished cats, Chewy and Lucky, And all of her many friends.
Kyra was preceded in death by her father, Stewart Karrick; her grandparents, Dennis and Shirley Karrick and Junior and Elise Atkins; and her cousin, Dusty Abner.
Though her time here was far too short, the love Kyra gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
Service will be held 6/4/26 at Farnum Holt Funeral
11am-1pm visitation service at 1pm
