Sylvia Lincoln, age 84, passed away on July 14, 2025 while living at Roaring Fork Senior Living in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

Sylvia was born on May 30, 1941 in Oak Creek, Colorado to parents David Hageman and Virginia Robertson. She was raised by her father David Hageman and step mother Rosa “Kay” Hageman and had three brothers, all growing up in Oak Creek.

Sylvia spent her younger years in Oak Creek and moved to Glenwood in 1973. She worked as a biofeedback technician at the hospital for many years before getting her license in professional counseling. She practiced counseling in Glenwood and taught many classes on stress management at Colorado Mountain College. She was married to Frank Berg while in Oak Creek. They divorced and she got remarried to Vernon Lincoln in Glenwood.

She loved to can preserves of jam, jellies and salsa with family and always enjoyed arts and crafts of all sorts. She was also well known for her apple pies made with her grandmother, Rosa Love’s, recipe. She loved flowers blooming in her yard, especially poppies, and also loved Colorado columbines in high country meadows. She wanted to reunite with her beloved dog, Oreo, and hopefully they are giving each other kisses today.

Sylvia was dedicated to promoting individual spiritual development through Siddha Yoga, which is based on eastern philosophies. Teachings include meditation, chanting, and selfless service.

She is survived by her husband Vernon Lincoln of Glenwood, brothers Tom/David Hageman and Bob Hageman both in Oak Creek, Colorado and brother George Hageman and his wife Juanita Brooks who travel the country by motorhome. She is also survived by her son Jerry Berg and wife Cyndie Wolfe of Crawford, Colorado. Sylvia was preceded in death by her oldest son, Jim Berg.

She chose not to have a service.

She is loved and will be in our hearts forever!!
