U.S. Ski and Snowboard released its preliminary 2026-27 domestic World Cup Alpine ski schedule in a press release Thursday afternoon. Two items are worth noting for local ski fans.

Copper Mountain will host the Copper Cup for the second-straight year, but the event will only include men’s races as the women’s circuit returns to Killington, Vermont, after a one-year hiatus. The men will race a super-G and giant slalom on Nov. 28-29 at Copper Mountain while the women contest giant slalom and slalom on the same days in Vermont.

On Dec. 3-6, the men’s circuit will travel to Beaver Creek for four days of racing at the Birds of Prey World Cup. Then, on Dec. 12-13, the women will race a downhill and super-G at the venue. The women raced at Birds of Prey for the first time in 2024.

The World Cup schedule is preliminary and pending final FIS Council approval in Spring 2026.

• Nov. 28-29, 2026 – Copper Cup – men’s super-G, giant slalom
• Nov. 28-29, 2026 – Stifel Killington Cup – women’s giant slalom, slalom
• Dec. 3-6, 2026 – Stifel Birds of Prey – men’s downhill (2), super-G, giant slalom
• Dec. 12-13, 2026 – Stifel Birds of Prey – women’s downhill, super-G
• March 20-25, 2027 – Stifel Sun Valley Finals – men’s and women’s downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom
